Spiros Taverna is a fast casual restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week from 7am - 9pm. We specialize in Greek cuisine, utilizing family recipes as well as classic American favorites.
Job Summary
We are seeking 3 motivated individuals who have line cook experience. The ideal candidate will have knowledge in food preparation and cooking, and food safety procedures. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
Assist in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Participate in catering events as required
Experience
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and knife skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
