AACE is a progressive, forward-thinking, privately owned engineering consulting firm specializing in Geotechnical Engineering and Environmental Consulting. Headquartered in Port St. Lucie and founded 16 years ago, AACE has grown significantly and is now seeking full-time Construction Materials Testing (CMT) technicians to staff public and private sector construction projects including highways and roadways, drainage and utility improvement projects, Stormwater Treatment Areas (STAs), hospitals, etc. Projects are primarily located on the Treasure Coast of Florida, but do include projects in Palm Beach, Okeechobee, Highlands and Brevard Counties.

Duties: Responsible for field sampling and testing of soils (using a nuclear density gauge and drive-sleeve methods), concrete and asphalt for construction quality control purposes, and field inspection of construction-related activities.
Minimum Qualifications Expected:
- A minimum of one year of construction materials testing experience
- ACI and/or CT/QP certifications preferred; will send the right candidates for training
- Nuclear Density Gauge training preferred
- Ability to work weekends and extended hours, when required
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Excellent driving records acceptable to company standards
- Pass company background checks including drug screening
- Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance available to experienced candidates
