A Bookkeeper will be responsible for supporting our team in a fast-paced office environment by working with a range of external customers, as well as handling administrative work such as invoicing. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail and is well-organized. The successful bookkeeper will have experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks and have excellent communication skills in addition to professional etiquette.
Responsibilities:
Prepare or examine financial records to compile and analyze financial data for such purposes as reviewing, auditing, and adjusting entries and generating reports and statements.
Record business transactions in journal entries and maintain trial balances.
Review day-to-day financial activities conducted by company managers and employees to ensure that protocols are being followed accurately.
Create and maintain accounting records, such as bookkeeping documents, journals, ledgers, financial statements, and ledgers.
Assume responsibility for the accuracy of assigned financial data and records.
Analyze financial information to determine if changes in accounting procedures are needed.
Evaluate economic effects of proposed accounting changes.
Construction Experience a plus
QuickBooks Online Experience a must
