Job Description:
Mercury Trucking Corp, a new and rapidly growing trucking company based in Tampa, FL, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Company Driver to join our team. This position involves transporting intermodal container freight locally and regionally. Our trucks are leased under another company, we will provide you with reliable equipment to perform your duties efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely and efficiently transport intermodal container freight to various local and regional destinations.
Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years CDL A driving experience.
Intermodal experience preferred.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no violations.
Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card.
Hazmat endorsement preferred, but not required.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations.
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
Excellent communication skills.
