We are looking for a highly motivated, excited-to-learn, positive attitude, the ability to work independently, and the passion to be the best you can be.
This position will be stressful; you must be able to take a deep breath and not take the demanding customer personally.
This is a remote work-from-home position; training will be in a small office in South Tampa. It will be a combination of in-office and remote training. All equipment for working from home will be provided.
Hours: Monday, Thur & Fri (noon-8pm), Sat & Sun (8am-8pm)
Prior experience as a dispatcher is not required, as this is very teachable to the right candidate.
Candidates must be able to multitask and stay cool under pressure.
Things heat up, and things cool downand this must be adaptable and acceptable to the candidate.
Must have clear English-speaking ability.
Computer skills are necessaryfamiliarity with MS Word, MS EXCEL, and MS ACCESS is a plus.
Though this is not a sales job, you will work with people and assign jobs to couriers with varying personalities. Dispatchers will have to convince people to work when we are extremely busy.
We need people who care about their work as much as about a decent paycheck.
