Responsibilities
As a Field Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
Assisting the Area Manager and project teams in planning, organizing, and coordinating construction projects from initiation to completion.
Coordinating and overseeing daily field activities, including supervising construction crews, monitoring progress, and ensuring work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
Collaborating with the Area Manager to maintain project schedules, budgets, and resources, and providing regular updates on project status.
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company policies on all job sites, promoting a culture of safety among team members.
Conducting regular site inspections to identify potential issues, resolve challenges, and maintain high standards of quality and workmanship.
Managing materials, equipment, and tools on-site to ensure they are available and utilized efficiently.
Supporting the preparation and distribution of project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and other relevant materials.
Maintaining accurate records of project activities, expenses, and progress, and preparing reports as required.
Assisting in client communication, addressing inquiries, and providing updates on project status and milestones.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction or a related field, demonstrating familiarity with construction processes and terminology.
Solid organizational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to address challenges creatively and collaboratively.
Basic knowledge of construction safety regulations and practices, with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar, and other relevant software tools for documentation and communication.
A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Physical ability to perform site visits and inspections, including lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
