Join a Reputable Irrigation Company in St. Petersburg. This is a hands-on role that combines mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills in a fast-growing division working on large-scale irrigation systems across Florida.
What You’ll Do:
. Diagnose and repair a variety of pump systems, including centrifugal, submersible turbine, and vertical turbine pumps
. Work with large-diameter wells, wet wells, flumes, and lake/pond suction lines
. Use electrical meters and tools to test and verify system performance
. Troubleshoot intake/discharge problems, air intrusion, drawdown issues, and motor failures
. Read and interpret schematics, relay logic diagrams, and motor control setups
. Install and maintain VFDs, motor starters, and relay-based controls
. Communicate clearly with team members to document work and coordinate projects
What You Bring:
✅ Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
✅ Familiarity with electrical systems, including Ohm’s Law and relay logic
✅ Basic understanding of motor control circuits, VFDs, and wiring
✅ Experience or willingness to learn pump diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
✅ Self-driven, team-oriented, and eager to learn advanced systems
✅ Ability to read technical diagrams and use diagnostic tools effectively
✅ Valid driver’s license
