General Construction Company specializing in drywall and framing for 30+ Years. We are committed to delivering quality service and looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and contribute to our growing success.

Position Overview:

Responsible for accurately estimating the costs, materials, labor, and time needed to complete projects within our scope of work, work closely with contractors and other departments to ensure that estimates are accurate and align with project goals and budgets, manage the project from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and review blueprints and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.

Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, and other expenses for projects.

Collaborate with contractors and suppliers to gather relevant pricing information.

Provide detailed, accurate reports and presentations on estimates for management and clients.

Assist in negotiating project costs with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Ensure projects are completed within given timelines and meet project specifications.

Monitor ongoing projects to identify any potential cost variances and recommend corrective actions.

Stay updated on industry trends, material costs, and new technologies to improve estimating practices.

Follow up on all project bids/quotes where the bid was not awarded.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as an Estimator/Project Manager in the construction industry

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Strong analytical and math skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
