Granite Countertop Installation/Shop Help Needed
StoneTop is a custom countertop fabricator/installer, located in East Tampa. We specialize in commercial projects as well as high-end residential work. Our work requires a high level of skill and experience. Currently we are hiring for shop and installation positions. These positions could include polishing, fabricating, or an apprentice to the installer position. All our installers start as an apprentice to a lead installer and with time, experience, and training move on to lead their own installations. This is a Part-Time Position with the ability to grow within the company and become Full-Time as your skills develop. No experience, specifically in granite fabrication/installation, is needed. However, experience in the construction industry is preferred. Below are the requirements and qualities we are looking for in an employee.
Requirements & Qualities
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass drug test
- Valid driver’s license, 2 years with a clean record
- Reliable transportation to work with an 8:30am arrival time
- Ability to do HEAVY LIFTING (approx. 75 – 100lbs)
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work within a Team
- Willingness to learn
- Good communication skills
- Able to follow directions and complete tasks assigned in a timely manor
- Positive attitude
