Phillips Repair Service is a mobile automotive reconditioning company and was established in 2002. We provide on-site reconditioning services to over 200 car dealerships in West, Central and South Florida. Ongoing business operations in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco Counties have created an immediate opening for a Paint Prep technician.
This Paint Prep Technician responsibilities will include but are not limited to, the following job duties:
> provide assistance to automotive painter with vehicle preparation as needed
> sand and buff (nibbing) dirt from freshly painted surfaces
> wash a vehicle which may be dirty, when needed
> assist the site supervisor in the execution of daily tasks
> site clean up
The position requires:
> a valid Florida driver license, with no accidents in the last 5 years
> a self starter who can stay organized and manage several tasks simultaneously
> ability to use a palm sander and machine buffer
> a reliable and solid work ethic
> ability to take directions
> prior paint experience a plus
