Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Fullstack Java Developer for a direct placement with one of our premier financial services clients in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities :
- Work with the AMCSSI BAs to understand requirements and team architect to drive technical solutions;
- Guide tech team to develop web-based front-end application and back end components using approved technologies as per the Functional Requirements Document;
- Create and ensure unit testing exists and is executed on every component and functionality changed;
- Monitor process flows and review alert messaging to proactively remediate potential issues;
- Continuously document all environmental procedures;
- Review, plan and remediate all EOL and Vulnerabilities;
- Investigate level 2 issues and influence change with development teams to improve system stability and business objectives;
- Work collaboratively with other functional teams to investigate and remediate data quality issues;
- Improve personal and team productivity through innovations and use of available tools;
- Comply with mandated policies and procedures and contribute in procedural improvements;
- Accurately estimate effort for assigned tasks to the team and consistently meet commitments;
- 10+ years minimum core Java
- 10+ years of experience with Spring framework, Spring Boot, Java messaging EMS and REST services
- 4+ years of experience ECS Container
- 3+ years of experience UI development with Angular (from 5 up) and Bootstrap
- Nice to have: Hibernate framework
- Well familiar with Unix/Linux commands
- Mongo and Oracle Database - general CRUD activity
- Strong technical skills;
- Experience working in a fast paced environment;
- Strong experience of Software Development Lifecycle processes;
- Experience of delivering projects as part of a cross location team;
- Should be hands-on and have ability to do technical specifications;
- Must have worked on unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito and TestNG;
- Prior Reference Data experience across Accounts, Standing Settlement Instructions, Omgeo ALERT are a plus.
