Are you passionate about the open water and have a knack for sales? We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Boat Sales Representative to join our team at Champion Marine, a leading boat dealership in Clearwater. As a Boat Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in connecting boating enthusiasts with their dream boats and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their boating needs, providing expert advice, and guiding them through the boat purchasing process.

Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on the latest boat models, features, and industry trends to effectively communicate product information to customers.

Sales Process: Manage the entire sales process, from initial customer contact to closing the sale. Utilize effective sales techniques, overcome objections, and negotiate terms to ensure customer satisfaction.

Follow-Up: Conduct timely follow-ups with potential customers to nurture leads and provide additional information as needed. Maintain a proactive approach to customer communication.

Documentation: Input all information into our CRM and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth transaction process. Collaborate with the finance and administrative teams to finalize sales.

Networking: Attend boat shows, industry events, and other relevant gatherings to build a network of potential customers and enhance the dealership's presence in the community.

Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a results-driven and goal-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

Proven sales experience, preferably in the marine or automotive industry.

Knowledge of boats.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Self-motivated with a proactive and positive attitude.

Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
