Executive Consultant: Business Credit & Growth Funding (nationwide, virtual)

Reports to: Managing Partner Paul H.

Overview:

At J. Galt, our Executive Consultants hold a high level of responsibility to perform outbound prospecting and develop small to medium sized business leads marketing J Galt's SaaS memberships and consulting services. In addition, Executive Consultants will work with their Managing Partner/Sales Manager representing J. Galt in attracting memberships through network/channel partners, strategic alliances, chambers of commerce, BNI groups, local events, and state, trade, and professional associations.

This role will receive hands-on training with their peers and the executive team within the company to get onboarded and set up for success. Our culture is NOT to SELL, but rather to educate business owners on credit-building options while they still have time. We are also huge on motivational books and videos.

At J. Galt we believe in helping small and medium-sized businesses grow and succeed by rapidly acquiring significant credit lines and funding tied to their company’s EIN. It is tragic that most business owners carry the credit needs of their business and put their personal assets at risk. They often rely on personal credit cards, or they sign personally for the business to access the funding, equipment, trucks, or facilities the business requires to operate their business.

What We Do:

J. Galt Finance Suite offers a SaaS platform, tools, processes, and consultative services to small and medium-sized business owners. Our system includes a proven 7-step process to build credit for a business around the business EIN without personal guarantees or using the owner’s personal credit profile.

Who we are Looking For:

J. Galt is seeking six-figure full-time 1099 sales talent and aggressive growth-oriented executives with a proven track record of success. Successful candidates will possess:

Minimum 2-5 years (preferred 4-10 years) of successful business experience in a marketing-intensive business

Uncompromising need for top-level earnings

High energy, self-disciplined, self-starter with a positive attitude

Goal-oriented with a lifelong quest for personal development and career growth

Persuasive communication skills in oral & written form

Comfortable speaking in front of groups in person or virtually

Top-notch consultative sales skills

Comfortable marketing to professionals and C-level executives

Superior time management and organization skills and a desire to work from a home-based /virtual office

Professional appearance, demeanor, and communication skills

Passion to market a SaaS product that solves a small business owner's most vexing problems related to credit, cash flow, and growth funding

Ability to make friends with small business owners

Willingness to make cold calls and local in-person drop-in visits at small- and medium-size companies to build your new book of business

Prior backgrounds in sales, business ownership, teaching, financial advisory, insurance, banking, etc. are helpful but not required.

People who embrace the philosophies in these 2 books: Fanatical Prospecting by Jeb Blount, and Influence by Robert Cialdini.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The J. Galt Executive Consultant contributes significantly to personal production and key channel relationships. You must like talking with people, helping them, and education them. We are NOT looking for pushy sales people, but rather good educators who can get business owners to make smart decisions in their own best interest.

A J. Galt Executive Consultant is a sales and prospecting role with tremendous career growth potential. No testing or certifications needed: we will provide robust training materials, coaching, and career mentoring to you!

Key Objectives:

Attracting memberships through channel /networking partners

100+ outreaches a day to small & medium sized businesses (to get started)

Work with a Regional Managing Partner to prospect chambers of commerce, trade associations, and networking events

In-person and virtual presentations: simply explain our value proposition be friendly, persuasive, and honest.

Work with Partners to deliver business credit seminars to groups of 5-50 business owners

High level of autonomy, calendar management, and influence in the day-to-day activities of their role

Learning, developing, and implementing sales strategies

Managing the sales process through the online J. Galt Sales App

Participating in regular team meetings online (i.e., Zoom)

Meeting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
