Front Counter/Customer Service
Effectively operate front counter position for distributorship including handling all incoming phone calls, walk in business, pulling batteries for sale, dispatching hot shot requests in a timely and orderly fashion, and handling invoices/payments.

Job Components:
Handle All incoming phone calls in a professional manner and dispatch hot-shot request in the most timely and orderly fashion.
Schedule hot-shot drivers in a manner that will deliver the best and most efficient service possible.
Wait on and handle all walk-in customers by providing each and every customer with courteous service and information to satisfy their battery need(s).
Handle and balance invoices generated.
Follow-up with largest customers weekly to ensure customer satisfaction and battery supply is adequate.
Upload and download handhelds on a weekly basis
Process handheld data in a timely manner
Qualifications:
Basic computer skills and ability to utilize the internet.
Good knowledge of the geographical area.
Strong communication skills and customer service skills, including phone etiquette.
Ability to multi-task.
Basic computer skills required, i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience answering a multi-line phone system.
Administrative support experience in a wholesale distribution industry is a plus.
Touch ten key ability.
Scope Data:
Works under general supervision.
Work receives regular review by Manager.
Daily interaction with peers, leadership and customers.
Work Environment:
Ability to sustain posture in a seated position for prolonged periods of time.
Regularly required to use hands to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move 40+ lbs.
May be exposed to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
Prolonged use of personal computer & telephone.
