About Our Company
Affordable Displays is a privately owned company in business for 25+ years. We build fixtures and displays for Amusement Parks, like SeaWorld, Six Flags, Universal, Busch Gardens, Legoland, Hard Rock Café; national parks, and gift shops etc. We also build office and retail interiors for medical and dental offices, auto dealerships, restaurants and more.
Role of the Shop Production Coordinator
The job of the Production Coordinator is to assist our Shop Supervisor and our Company Operations Team with the variety of tasks required to ensure that we follow our production schedule to complete and ship out our products to meet our customer’s deadlines.
Job Responsibilities – Work with our production team to
Prep products for completion
Pack and label products for shipping
ASSIST Shop Supervisor with:
o Receiving and inventory
o Work-order documentation and production flow
o Quality checks as needed
o Facility organization
Act as liaison between our Shop and our Operations Team
Work Hours and Conditions of Employment
Hours: Monday through Friday – 7:30 am to 4 pm
Work takes place in our Company shop located at 2120 Calumet Street, Suite 1, Clearwater, FL 33765
Must have reliable transportation
Must show up on time and come to work daily (unless approved time off/or ill)
Willing to learn new skills
Able to lift 30+ pounds and /or use carts, dollies etc.
Seeking employees who are:
Very detail-orientated.
Able to work in FAST-PACED PRODUCTION environment
Responsible self-starter who can efficiently assist in a variety of shop tasks
Able to be flexible in adapting work day based on daily production/shipping schedule
Experience with basic packing/shipping skills
Optional/Nice to have:
Basic computer skills: MS WORD and Excel
Experience with basic hand tools
Any wood working experience is a plus
Salary Range: $17 - $20 per hour for full time position based on experience level
