Job Description:
Growing small manufacturing and distribution facility of FDA regulated products in Kenwood area looking for a 100% reliable, dependable, and dedicated Production Operator employee. We operate a very flexible and comfortable work environment in exchange for dedicated and reliable employees. We also promote 100% from within. We have several positions available. The position is full-time 1st shift (9-5 pm M-F; 40 hours/week) initially as a contract position. However, upon a successful 90 day probationary period, the position will be offered as a regular employee position with benefits and with a pay increase. In addtion, after 1 year, there is an automatic promotion and another pay increase. We will train, but an ability to read and write English fluently, take direction, learn on the job, and be reliable and on-time is required. Applicants MUST be willing to submit to drug screen as well as full background check. We are a non-smoking facility.
Educational and Experience Requirements:
Minimum of high school degree or equivalent.
Excellent technical, practical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in equipment operation and typical warehouse activities

Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs inventory status checks.
Manufactures products per order/stock needs.
Complies with manufacturing, facility, and other company-related guidelines and procedures.
Operates equipment safely and effectively.
Performs equipment cleaning and documents these activities as per company procedures.
Evaluates equipment performance and recommends improvements.
Performs facility cleaning and documents these activities per company procedures.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum of high school degree or equivalent
Ability to learn, take direction, and follow procedures
Excellent technical, practical and problem-solving skills
Must be extremely detail-oriented
Ability to grow with organization into supervisory/management roles, if desired
