Conventional Elox, and Fanuc Wire EDM
Machine shop seeking experienced personnel in all phases of Machining
Both Journeyman, and Production operators in the EDM and Machining department.
The candidate should possess knowledge in machine shop fabrication.
Follow safety practices, procedures, and our company quality of work standards.
All in house EDM machines are manufactured by ELOX and Fanuc for Wire.
This job requires planning, proper setup of machines, precise measurements, ensuring all work is completed efficiently.
The majority of our work is providing a service in aiding completion of customer supplied product.
Duties:
Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches and drawings.
Assist or preform set-ups involving parts in Vertical and or EDM, Graphite dept., etc
Verify parts by using precision measuring tools.
Routinely scheduled monthly machine maintenance.
Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
Minimum experience 1 year for production personnel and 5 years for Machinist, Vocational or Technical School
Certificate in machining a plus.
Must be able to work overtime as necessary, stand for long periods of time, bend, twist, reach overhead, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds. Must also be able to read, write and speak English, to include written and verbal directions.
Able to interpret and work off blueprints/sketches/work instructions, and able to perform basic math calculations.
Trig calculations a plus.
Shift Information is currently:
Monday – Thursday / 6 AM – 4:30 PM (4 Day Work Week)
Location: Largo 33777 Bryan Dairy and Belcher area.
