Tampa based company is looking for an experienced CNC router tech. Applicant must have previous experience using a computerized router. Knowledge of CAD-CAM software for CNC Machine is necessary to work fully in this position.
Requirements
· Previous experience operating a Multicam, Vision Engraver or Gerber router preferred.
· Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.
· Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.
· Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
· Consider tools required to cut various materials and program machines accordingly.
· Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
· Applicant should be detail oriented, have proven work experience, measuring, cutting and working from written instructions.
· Intermediate computer skills necessary.
· Must be self-motivated, quality minded, able to work in a fast-paced custom shop and be able to work at a pace required to meet deadlines.
· Previous custom fabrication experience helpful.
· Must be organized and experienced in maintaining a safe work environment.
. Ability to lift 40-pound sheets of material repeatedly.
Responsibilities
· Inspect work completed to endure a quality product is delivered to the next workstation.
· Record time taken for entire job onto the daily production board.
· Assist with other assignments which will help the production department function as needed.
· Always comply with the safety regulations as specified in the company Safety Manual.
Hours for this position are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday – Friday with occasional overtime required. Second shift positions also available for qualified candidates looking for part-time supplemental income.
