About the Role
As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying, contacting, and engaging potential and existing customers, ensuring continued growth and customer retention in the Tampa market. You will use a structured process (ICOEF – Identify, Contact, Offer, Execute, Follow Up) to drive sales, nurture client relationships, and expand our customer base.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Engagement & Sales Growth
-Review Reports for insights into recent orders and inactive customers.
- Identify "No Order" customers and proactively reach out to re-engage them.
- Conduct weekly customer follow-ups via phone and email, documenting interactions and opportunities.
- Implement loyalty and rewards programs, including promo codes and discount incentives.
- Conduct in-person field visits to existing and potential customer locations, ensuring brand visibility and relationship-building.
Market Expansion & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities through location-based analysis and targeted outreach.
- Schedule and conduct sales meetings, demos, and client presentations.
- Utilize CRM tools to track leads and sales metrics.
Operational & Reporting Responsibilities
- Maintain and update customer spreadsheets, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking.
- Provide weekly business development metrics, including new customer acquisitions, reactivations, and sales by zip code.
- Organize weekly planning and strategy meetings to align sales efforts with company goals.
