We are looking for a motivated, proactive, responsible, and reliable handyman to join our team. In this role, you will day-to-day grounds, maintenance and repair services as they arise for four mobile home communities. You will be responsible for making units available for rent as needed, performing tasks including but not limited to flooring, carpentry, painting, light HVAC, electrical and plumbing. The ideal candidate will be dependable, accountable, and committed to delivering quality work, with a strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ongoing maintenance and repairs on mobile homes
Prepare units for rent as they become available, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards
Communicate effectively and follow up on any outstanding repairs or maintenance to ensure all issues are fully resolved
Keep detailed and organized records of completed and outstanding work
Respond to emergency after-hours requests as needed
Requirements:
Must own tools and have a reliable vehicle
Must be able to pass a background check
Handyman experience required (must provide past work references)
Proactive problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
Must demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and accountability in all aspects of the job
Motivated, self-starter with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work Monday - Friday with flexibility for weekends and emergency after-hours as needed
Excellent follow-up skills to ensure all tasks are completed and resolved to satisfaction and in a timely manner
Basic mobile phone and computer skills needed
