National manufacturing company is in need of a Manufacturing/Production Associate to join their Overnight shift.
Monday thru Thursday (4 Ten hour nights)
8:30pm to 7:00am
$16.00 to start
Manufacturing/ Production Associate Job Description::
Assist and learn from the Machine operator in a production environment producing quality packaging.
Conduct tasks as assigned in a safe manner
Read and understand accompanying paperwork to produce assigned items
Learn the machines and processes and troubleshoot when necessary
Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards
Use of hand tools and manual dexterity is necessary
Use Encore (computer software) to enter data such as caliper checks, order specifications, and box dimensions
Follows Lock-out/Tag-out and all safety procedures required
Maintain production and machine areas so that they are always clean, accessible, and safe
Work on other machines as needed
Manufacturing/Production Associate Skills Requirements:
Standing work whether setting up, feeding, running, stacking and during clean up once job is complete
Desire and ability to learn packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements to carry out jobs as required
Ability to use hand tools to assist operator in set up and/or whatever tasks needing to be done
Ability to record accurate data entry for recording receipts and machine/product data into system
Ability to read a tape measure and apply concepts of high school level math with speed and accuracy
Ability and willingness to accomplish any task delegated by the Machine Operator
Read and interpret job tickets and ask questions when in doubt

Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach overhead, twist, kneel and lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to read, write and speak ENGLISH, to include written and verbal instructions.
