Position Summary
As a Border Magic Installation Technician, you’ll be the face of our brand in the field. You’ll travel to client properties to install decorative borders, lay weed‑barrier fabric, secure landscape edges, and position custom boulders, ensuring precision, durability, and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities
Site Preparation: Measure and mark installation areas; excavate or grade surface as needed.
Material Handling: Unload, transport, and stage edging materials, fabric, stakes, and boulders.
Installation: Secure landscape borders, anchor weed‑mat, and set custom boulders per layout plans.
Quality Assurance: Inspect finished work for alignment, stability, and clean edges; address any touch‑ups.
Client Interaction: Communicate professionally on‑site; answer basic questions and confirm satisfaction.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean, inspect, and store tools and vehicles at end of shift.
Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety protocols; operate small machinery (e.g., plate compactor) responsibly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
