We are looking for a dedicated Crew Leader to join our team here at Steve And Steven's Lawn Care. The Crew Leader's responsibilities include maintaining the yards of residential and commercial clients, mowing lawns, laying sod, and ensuring that green spaces look beautiful.
also having accountability for the equipment and crew.
To be successful as a Crew Leader, you should be able to work well in a team or on your own. Ultimately, a top-notch Crew Leader is hard working, reliable, has attention to detail & is knowledgeable.
We are looking for a Full-Time employee. Someone who is interested in growing with the company. Needing little supervision.
Paying $18-$19 per hour. DOE. Paid Weekly on W2
Weekly Bonus up to $100. Can make up to a max of $820 - $860 a week. Summer OT will be available (not expected but when it happens it’s available). We also have an attendance bonus up to $100/month.
Crew Expectations:
- Completing 12-15 solo, 20 - 25 accounts per day 2 man crew, or 27+ 3 man.
- Being able to Pull and reverse a trailer.
- Ability to operate all equipment - Zero turns, Standers, Hedge Trimmers etc.
Crew Leader Responsibilities:
Maintaining flower beds.
Mowing grass.
Edging / weed whacking grass
Blowing off a property clean
Trimming hedges and trees.
Performing routine checkups on clients' yards.
Maintaining the aesthetic appeal of clients' gardens, yards, and outdoor areas.
Lead Role:
Supervising all lawn maintenance service activities of the crew.
Coordinating with management, customers and employees as needed.
Using landscaping tools and operating heavy equipment as needed. Safely driving crews to and from jobs, adhering to Company's safety policy and ensuring that the public will be safe while in contact with crews.
30 Day probationary period: $17.50/hr during training 3-4 weeks
PTO (7 days per year)
Paid Holidays (6-7 Per Year)
Valid Drivers License (Must Have!)
3-5 years experience (Must Have!)
Crew Leader Requirements:
A high school diploma or GED.
A degree in landscaping or GI-BMP Certification.
Experience in lawn care and maintenance.
Familiarity with lawn care equipment and tools.
Able to handle Florida Heat
Manual dexterity, physical strength, and stamina.
Attention to individual and team safety.
Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
