At Landcrafters, we prioritize our employees' growth, offering ample opportunities for skill enhancement and career progression.ResponsibilitiesPerform precise hand-pruning of specialty shrubs, trees, and vinesDeadhead and groom perennials, roses, and annuals to maintain their health and appearanceDesign and install plant material in containers and garden spaces, ensuring aesthetic appealIdentify and treat pests and diseases to protect plant healthBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat businessConduct watering, mulching, staking, and other general maintenance tasks to uphold garden qualityQualificationsTwo- or four-year horticultural related degree or two years of Fine Gardening experienceAdditional industry experience/certifications can substitute for non-related degree, two-year degree, or no degreeAbility to identify and treat insect and disease problemsUnderstanding of proper horticulture methods for planting, pruning, etc.Strong time management and teamwork skillsPositive attitude and strong work ethicValid driver's licenseAbility to lift and carry 50 pounds at timesCompensationThe salary for this position ranges from $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience, with potential for bonuses.
