BCM is seeking a working Foreman, who likes to work with their hands and run a job site. This position will require someone with experience in entire home renovations including but not limited to bathroom and kitchen remodeling. As a hands-on position, you will be working side by side with other team members, handling client relations, sub-contractors, timelines, and labor.
This position requires a minimum of seven years in all phases of residential / commercial construction and supervisory experience. The ideal candidate will have owned and operated their own construction business in the past and understand the role that that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, keeping on task, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Actively performing work onsite and coordinating labor activities with onsite crews.
- Making sure all work is performed according to project plans, and specifications.
- Coordinating daily with the Project Manager regarding daily activities and schedule.
- Identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
- Blueprint Reading and Understanding
- Forecasting work activities and material needs
- Scheduling trade partners
- Daily reports and pictures
- Customer communications
- Physically working with hands and tools to build a project.
The candidate must possess extensive knowledge of residential construction, residential / commercial remodeling, construction practices, construction procedures, construction techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality control, safety, and applicable building codes.
