Job Summary:

As the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations of our HVAC warehouse. You will assist the Warehouse Manager in managing inventory, coordinating jobs, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse operations and a passion for leadership and organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Inventory Management:

o Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.

o Monitor stock levels to ensure optimal supply and minimize shortages.

o Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.

o Pull jobs and spot check team members’ pulls.

2.Team Leadership:

o Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.

o Ensure adherence to company policies and safety procedures.

o Provide input on staff development.

o Reliable with a Proven Track Record

3.Operations Coordination:

o Oversee incoming and outgoing jobs to ensure timely delivery.

o Coordinate with suppliers and main office to streamline processes.

o Assist in managing warehouse layout and organization for maximum efficiency.

o Comfortably using a Forklift.

4.Safety and Compliance:

o Ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

o Conduct routine safety inspections and address any concerns.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the HVAC or related industry.

Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
