BILINGUAL SPANISH REQUIRED - NOT A FIELD POSITION

The HR Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes for safety, work comp, and auto accidents. This role assists employees with safety and acts as liaison between employees and work comp providers. The HR Coordinator determines safety training for our employees and assure all work-related injuries are processed as per company policy and OSHA regulations.

Some Duties/Responsibilities:

Work with managers and directors to get their employees the required training.

Review inspections reports from the Safety team to see what areas need improvements in what branches. Work with the branch manager and directors to get the issues corrected promptly.

Keep inventory of safety material at all the branches and order stock when needed. (i.e. hard hats, gloves, glasses, ear plugs, etc)

Have an acute understanding of company policy, corporate, and field operations and specific interdepartmental duties and overlaps.

Input and maintain records, files, and databases of claims; employee safety trainings and prepares summary reports of collected data when needed.

Ensures that safety folders are up to date, ensure all safety materials are ordered with enough time, and coordinate any changes with HR Director and Safety Team.

Attend OSHA and Safety training meetings as required.

Comply with OSHA requirements.

Participate in professional organizations, seminars, and meetings that provide the company with advanced approaches and opportunities.

Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Bilingual English/ Spanish Required

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver presentations/trainings to explain rules and policies.

Excellent time management skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

At least two years related experience with HR, safety and work comp

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Ability to travel to various branches to provide training and assistance
