Small healthcare office seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Insurance Verifier to join our team on a part-time basis.
Pay: $18 – $22/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 8 hrs/week (two 4-hour shifts, non-consecutive days). Flexible scheduling available.
Location: On-site, Tampa – Town N’ Country area (easy parking!)
Job Duties
Tier 1 (Primary): Call insurance companies to verify coverage & check claim status using info provided by a senior team member. Strong phone skills required.
Tier 2: Assist with generating and submitting electronic claims under supervision.
Tier 3: Grow into handling Tier 1 & 2 tasks independently and expand into more work hours as available.
Requirements
Excellent phone and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and reliable.
Basic computer skills (claims software experience a plus).
Willingness to learn and follow structured processes.
Living near Tampa – Town N’ Country is a plus.
Strong command of spoken and written English (native speakers a plus).
