Local Clearwater Agency is looking to hire in the New Port Richey area! Our agency has provided care to individuals with disabilities for over six years. We currently have a woman in the New Port Richey Area who needs a caregiver from Saturday Morning (11 a.m.) through Wednesday (11 a.m.). We are looking for staff to assist with cooking, cleaning, laundry, showers, and transfers to and from bed.
This individual, who uses a power wheelchair at all times, requires assistance with various tasks. However, she is able to use a standing lift to get in bed, so no lifting is required. For her showers, she uses a Sara lift to transfer to a Tilting Shower Buddy. Experience with lifts is a bonus but not required.
This individual also has a service dog. She can care for her dog but may need assistance getting items for her dog.
PLEASE READ JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
-Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
-Must have or be willing to complete the online trainings required by the state.
-Must have an active Driver's license (ID Card) and Social Security card (or work visa)
-Must be willing to complete service logs for the service you provide to the individuals.
