A well-established company located in Clearwater, FL is looking for some new employees to join our team!
Our team of staff has been providing care to individuals with disabilities for over 6 years. We currently have a bi-weekly live-in position with a female client in the Clearwater area. This individual lives alone in a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment in Clearwater. This is a total care case, this client uses specialty care equipment such as an ostomy bag, Hoyer lift, and Dexcom device. Experience with this equipment is a plus but not required. She will also require assistance with feeding, changing, and washing as well as caring for her apartment. This client requires assistance with her laundry, mopping, and dusting, etc. This case has set hours of 3:00 pm-9:00 am, you are off during the day from 9:00 am-3:00 pm and this client will usually be at home or will go out in the community during this time. There are no pets in this apartment.
This client would like to have 2 staff that alternate each week, 7 days on and then 7 days off allowing staff to have time off.
There is lifting/moving required for this position.
Having a vehicle is not a requirement for this case, if you and this client would go out she would schedule a ride with a wheelchair-accessible van.
This case pays $1,792 a week (BEFORE TAXES- IF ALL HOURS ARE COMPLETED)
PLEASE READ JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Must be able to pass a level 2 background check
-Must have a high school diploma (or equivalent)
-Must have or be willing to complete the trainings that is required by the state.
-Must have an active Driver's license (ID Card) and Social Security card (or work visa)
-Must be willing to complete service logs for the service you provide to the individuals.
