We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver will provide assistance to residents in a Home community care setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and comfort. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HIPAA regulations and possess experience in Direct support services for individuals with diverse needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Ensure residents' rights are respected and upheld at all times
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and family members to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
- Document resident progress and any changes in condition
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Assisted living or similar caregiving roles
- Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with systems used in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
