The Tampa Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restaurant has an immediate need for one or two part time positions to be employed as a Doorman / Security.
The base hours are Thursday to Sunday evenings from 6:30 pm to 10:00pm on one show evenings, and as late as 1:00 am on most two show evenings. The Funny Bone, books nationally known major comedians each week as well as offering a complete menu of a full service Restaurant & Bar to the guests that attend the shows we produce each week. A nightclub like setting within a unique venue.
Door personnel must have good personal communication skills for our customers, while showing the ability to recognize and prioritize potential disruptions during any given show.
Must be Available for Weekends Friday - Sunday Occasional weekday, primarily Wednesday or Thursday when a show may be booked

Some past experience in a nightclub environment is preferred, as well as good customer relations experience.
The position is generally scheduled 3 to 4 evenings per week.
Experience with Audio/Sound equipment helpful.
