We are looking for a talented Sushi Roller to join our dynamic team. The Sushi Roller will be responsible for preparing sushi rolls, nigiri, and other Japanese delicacies according to recipes and specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a sushi restaurant or similar environment, possess excellent hand-eye coordination, and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality sushi are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
Roll sushi according to recipes and customer preferences, ensuring consistent quality and presentation
Prepare ingredients such as rice, fish, and vegetables for sushi rolling
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the sushi station and follow food safety protocolsAssist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
Communicate effectively with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely service
Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Sushi Roller or similar role, preferred.
Proficiency in rolling sushi and preparing sushi rice
Knowledge of various sushi ingredients and their proper handling
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment
Strong communication skills
