The Compl AML Core Sr Officer is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical strategy. Primarily affects a sub-function. Responsible for handling staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team/project.Responsibilities:Develop, enhance and refine best-in-class AML Compliance policies and practices.

Implement AML Compliance quality and testing, evaluate process deficiencies, analyze control measures, enhance reporting capabilities and recommend corrective actions while satisfying regulatory and audit commitments. Further, assess and identify emerging risks and recommend / drive program enhancements.

Provide expert advice on AML Compliance policies to the AML/Financial Crime Support teams and the business.

Review and collaborate with internal partners to respond appropriately to escalated matters. Further escalate as needed; advise senior management on initial findings.

Create, develop and deliver relevant training to business and functional partners.

Additional duties as assigned.

Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:5+ Years Related Experience

AML certification is a plus

Self-motivated and detail oriented

Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Advanced analytical skills Ability to both work independently and collaborate with team members Proficient in Excel and Word – ability to learn multiple system applications quickly

Education:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience required

Master's degree preferred

RoleThis role, reporting into the Head of ACRM Risk Frameworks, will focus on executing standalone initiatives across a range of key analytical, communications and people-related areas of strategic importance to both the ACRM Program and AML Program at-large.

This includes developing and producing program communications, summary views of recent AML Program developments, enhancements to the formats through which AML-related information is communicated, and facilitating the provision of people- and talent-oriented initiatives.

The role requires the ability to process and effectively synthesize a wide range of information pertaining to Citi’s regulatory environment, AML Program and organization, including from the standpoint of people and talent.

The role also requires excellent critical thinking and high quality written, presentational and communications skills, as the position involvesdirect and regular interactions with senior organizational stakeholders.

Key Job ResponsibilitiesProducing ad hoc summary views of key facts and up-to-date trends related to the ACRM and AML Programs

Providing insights and input into content creation, assembly and structure for presentations and decks on key AML initiatives, strategy and execution

Drafting of communications related to the ACRM and AML Programs and organizations

Facilitating processes which determine and organize priorities related to the review of key ACRM program components, ultimately with a view to applying targeted Program enhancements over varying time horizons

Communicating these priorities to relevant stakeholders

Tracking the execution of outcomes to such reviews and assessments

Facilitating the provision of talent development initiatives across the ACRM organization.

SkillsA proven track record of effectively presenting information to senior management.

The aptitude to be comfortable acting as an agent for positive change

The ability to understand and communicate AML risks as well as Program and organizational developments to different types of audiences.

Strong presentation and relationship-building skills: must be an articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing, with an enthusiastic and approachable style

Experience with interacting at senior levels and maintaining credibility through solid delivery against commitments

Competencies:The role requires highly developed writing and presentational skills as well as strategic thinking and the ability to manage multiple deadlines across competing priorities.Also required are highly developed inter-personal andcommunicationskills.

Knowledge and Experience:The role requires an individual who has significant experience with AML subject matter and is required to have a Bachelor’s degree (Law, Finance, Management).
