job detailsThe Sr. Project Manager will be a trusted resource for the President, handling key responsibilities with autonomy and informed decision-making. This individual will need to oversee all field operations for the company & also their projects too. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has Glass & Glazing indsutry experience. Product Knowledge: Storefronts, window walls, commercial windows, curtainwalls, doors, hardware, and glass.

Blueprints and Take-offs: Skilled in material take-offs from blueprints for storefronts, curtain walls, canopies, sunshades, handrails, sheet metal, and architectural metals.

Project Management: Manage projects independently, order materials, attend job site meetings, and coordinate with field personnel.

Blueprint Interpretation: Read blueprints and specifications to understand architects' intent.

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the glazing industry and current trends.

Software Proficiency: Estimating software, MS Word, Excel; Procore and Smartsheet are a plus.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication with customers, suppliers, architects, management, and site personnel.

Submittals and Procurement: Handle submittals, shop drawings, engineering, and procurement.

Field Coordination: Coordinate field measurements, on-site meetings, and oversee field labor activities.

Project Billing and Cost Management: Coordinate billing, maintain cost management, and perform budget comparisons.

Documentation and Communication: Maintain and log communication with customers, vendors, and subcontractors; respond to RFIs and track document updates.
