Together, we can forge a path to a sustainable, thriving future.We are seeking a motivated and talented Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead our growing Southeast and Great Lakes Area team. These two areas focus on geology, geotechnical, environmental, land development, water/wastewater, water resources, ecology, transportation among other disciplines. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Acquisition, the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will be instrumental in growing our Southeast and Great Lakes Areas through talent recruitment, partnership, and collaboration with our Human Resources and Operations team.Responsibilities:

Lead with empathy, strong communication, and a people-focused approach to achieve successful results for the Southeast and Great Lakes Areas.

Support and shape the company’s people-focused culture by promoting inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration by reinforcing positive workplace values and encouraging teamwork through outward messaging to potential candidates.

Supports a winning TA culture by taking information gathered from HR & the business and staying ahead of business needs to proactively search for a diverse pool of top industry talent using various recruiting methods (direct sourcing, internal recruitment, web-based, print media, social media).

Develop and incorporate an effective recruitment strategy based on each open position.

Work with hiring managers to produce and update job specifications and descriptions.

Arrange recruitment materials and post job ads on the company’s website, social media channels, and relevant job boards through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to determine appropriate sourcing strategy.

Develop a pool of qualified candidates as required by the position using sourcing strategies such as passive candidate sourcing, employ individual methodologies to source candidates via social media, job boards, and referrals.

Evaluate resumes and job applications against must have’s, nice to have’s and differentiators as outlined for each position.

Conduct preliminary phone interviews/screens with selected candidates to further validate skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements using behavioral-based interview techniques.

Follow up with candidates to update status and potential next steps in the hiring process.

Be a point of contact between the candidate and the company during the selection process.

Create and maintain strong networking relationships with internal customers and external talent sources.

Work as a key member in supporting the company’s Diversity Initiatives with a focus on networking and talent acquisition.

Build networks, both virtually and at in person networking events, to find qualified passive candidates.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in A/E/C recruitment is strongly preferred.

Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years’ experience in full life-cycle recruitment.

Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and communication skills.

Extensive understanding of HR databases, applicant tracking systems, and candidate management systems.

Understanding of federal compliance laws related to recruitment and HR.

Critical Skills:

Ability to clearly and concisely communicate both in written and verbal formats.

Teamwork and collaboration.

Designing and implementing direct sourcing strategies that attract top talent.

Overseeing the full cycle of recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer development and closing.
