Risk Reporting Senior Analyst, (Treasury), AVP

The Treasury Quality Assurance Analyst will provide ongoing assurance that liquidity reports are reliable, accurate, and timely. Treasury reports include FR2052a, LCR and ILST reports: S2, RLAP and other liquidity reports.The incumbent will:Conduct daily quality assurance reviews to identify daily reporting gaps against accuracy, timeliness, and reliability measurements

Utilize sampling methodology to determine reporting and related quality control issues

Apply testing criteria to identify reporting errors and control fails or gaps

Research, identify, and escalate failed controls and lead timely root cause analysis leveraging tacit knowledge of quality assurance, liquidity reports, financial systems, and other reports

Prepare reports illustrating purpose, strategy, and result of reviews

Prepare reports, metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and other presentations for the consumption of senior management (including FRSS global Regulatory Reporting head, FRSS global Risk and Control head, and other senior stakeholders in Global Liquidity Management)

The incumbent will operate independent from the teams which carry out the production and analytical processes for liquidity reporting

Prepare clear, concise and accurate documentation, reports of work performed and other written materials; read, interpret, explain and apply critical thinking.

Engage with senior management to report and escalate issues identified related to inaccurate, untimely, or unreliable daily liquidity reporting

Ensure departmental processes and procedures are kept current

Work closely with quality assurance analysts and production teams in other FRSS centers (Tampa, Costa Rica, Mumbai and Manila) supporting the global liquidity quality assurance program

Support management in assessing and enhancing operational controls

Participate in Internal Audit and Regulatory reviews as appropriate

Facilitate ad hoc, special requests, and project management

Train other members of the quality assurance team (local and in other regions) on standard operating procedures

Qualifications:The successful candidate will utilize critical thinking and analytical skills and have a good understanding of quality control conceptsBS in Business, Finance, or Risk or related field required

Incumbent should have 5-8 years of experience in finance, accounting, or risk within the financial services industry. In depth knowledge of Quality Control, Assurance, or Treasury Liquidity required.

Experience at a large financial institution preferred

Strong knowledge of financial products

CPA and/or Audit experience a + Knowledge of management reporting preferred

Knowledge of Treasury and liquidity reporting preferred

Understanding of current accounting principles, policies and financial institution regulatory reporting

Exceptional analytical skills, combined with an ability to deliver analyses in a concise and logical manner including on complex products

Experience in working in operations unit requiring coordination across multiple regions and business segments

Must have strong diplomacy and communication skills (oral and written) to clearly articulate findings, defend point of view amongst various groups, and present to senior management

Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Excel as PowerPoint to develop reports/presentations

Ability to multi-task and manage to project plan, demonstrating independent leadership skills

Strong understanding and appreciation of internal control environment, reporting, and metrics is required

Proven ability to make decisions, lead meetings, and operate with minimal supervision
