Why you'll love this job : Being a member of IT team Principal BSA will identify key objectives and associated risk across DTCC enterprise infrastructure including Cloud and On-Prem. The role will work closely with EPS management to recommend new risk mitigation strategies and drives solutions to maintain the integrity of DTCC infrastructure footprint. Provide management with an assessment of the performance, scalability, reliability, and robustness of products before they are exposed to customers. Gain domain expertise and guide team members on technical and business knowledge.

Your Primary Responsibilities :
  • Effectively define nonfunctional requirements for business applications to help design applications that meets customer needs.
  • Should be able to evaluate the quality of non-functional requirements by assessment and performance analysis.
  • Expertise in creating solutions/products from business case to delivery and pre/ post launch activities in Agile and SDLC methodology
  • Work directly with appropriate personnel to understand project concept, objectives and approach.
  • Take assigned project from original concept through final implementation.
  • Define project scope and objectives.
  • Create and maintains project schedules by developing project plans and specifications, estimating time requirements, establishing deadlines, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project product/service lifecycle, providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinating actions, and resolving conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing and tracking requests (changes, enhancements, etc.)
  • Conduct project meetings. Meet with project team(s) regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Meet with appropriate personnel for periodic reviews of prototypes and final products.
  • Provide single point of contact for assigned projects. Contribute towards continual service improvement activities related to the operations administration

Talents Needed for Success:
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of progressive software systems implementation and support, business systems process analysis and design, domain to include two years lead/supervisory experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • Drive project management activities including but not limited to project planning, estimation, scheduling, prioritization, business needs traceability, change requests processing, issue resolution, issue escalation, status reporting and lessons learned.
  • Facilitate sessions for gathering Functional and Non-Functional requirements with extensive experience in conducting Current State, Future State, Business Process Analysis and Gap Analysis
  • Practical experience with different software development Methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, data science and machine learning, with bonus points for experience with the SQL language, Db visualizer and related tools such as Tableau and PowerBI
