- Previous Telecom/Helpdesk wanting to break into an Operations role with an understanding of how a Network Operations role works.
- Understand different types of modems, ISP circuit types, broadband, DIA, etc.
- Basic knowledge of POTS, PRIs, and SIP circuits.
- Experience with ITSM Ticketing System.
- Ability to document procedures, fixes, and communicate to the rest of the team.

- Routing & Switching
- MPLS, Broadband, Wireless
- Knowledge with Network Operating Systems, Hardware, and Software troubleshooting skills. TCP/IP fundamentals including routing, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, subneting, network sniffing, WINS, DNS, and DHCP. Proficiency in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access, etc)
- Network Security Auditing and Mitigation
- Fortigate, SonicWall, ASA
- VPN Tunnels
- Nexus 9k
- College Graduate or equivalent work experience
- Network+, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE
