Position SummaryCome be a part of the Anywhere Real Estate's IT Network Team that will be responsible for implementing change management and ongoing maintenance of parts of the networking infrastructure for LAN/WAN and Cloud Infrastructure of the global, geographically diverse network and site presence!The candidate will work closely with members of the Network and Enterprise Infrastructure teams and be encouraged to tackle medium scale project work from time to time. Hands-on experience with firewalls is needed, with preference given to Fortinet Platforms. Experience in the following areas is highly desired -

Cloud Networking Experience in either Azure or AWS is required.

Exposure to Next-Gen Firewalls preferably Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls

Zero Trust Network Access Technologies

Application Delivery / Load Balancing Technologies (Preferably F5 Big IP)

Cloud-Managed Wireless Networking (Preferably Meraki)

Key Competences-

Technical – Demonstrate good understanding of IP networking and understand basic routing and addressing concepts. Must have operational and deployment experience of firewalls and have been exposed to VPNs on those platforms. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience of Fortinet firewalls, IPS platforms, Performance Monitoring, SDWAN, Cloud Networking, Load Balancing, and Zero Trust Remote Access.

Critical Thinking – Must demonstrate ability to learn quickly, solve problems independently, make well thought-out recommendations.

Security Standards – Must be able to function efficiently in a monitored environment, adhere to processes and standards encompassing data and infrastructure security. Be comfortable working within a change management system and demonstrate a proactive approach to life cycle management.

Teamwork – Function in a collaborative environment within and across IT teams.

Communications Skills – Effective oral and written communication and present complex technical concepts in an informative way to non-technical staff. Able to produce business documentation for all change and project related work as required.

Project Management – Must be organized, self-sufficient and lead multiple initiatives and co-ordinate with other teams to ensure that project workflows are effectively communicated.

Responsibilities Include-

Collaborate with and take direction from senior team members to support the networking environment for troubleshooting, maintenance, and project related work.

Handle incoming Incident Tickets and Requests incoming to the Network Team Queue and attempt resolution with the assistance of team if necessary.

Take an active role in change management to ensure all changes are completed on time and accurately.

Active participation in life cycle management ensuring all owned infrastructure is kept secure using approved software updates. Assist with testing of all proposed software updates.

Own and deliver small scale projects potentially across multiple geographic regions.

Administer wide spectrum of network appliances, services, and tools including Firewalls, Switches, WIFI, Azure, AWS, Network Monitoring System, etc.…

Document all diagrams, policies and procedures for newly deployed systems and review on yearly basis.

Product lifecycle support for the platforms owned by the team including active monitoring for new patches, releases and hotfixes. Work with vendors as required.

Work closely with the various regional operations teams to ensure that the networking environment is actively supervised, and any issues are addressed as quickly as possible.

Participate in an On-Call rotation and be available for out of office hours support when needed.

Work with approved vendors when ordering equipment, services or renewing maintenance.

Work with vendor support teams to resolve technical issues as required.

Audit and review all system logs for issues and remedy or escalate as needed.

Participate in Disaster Recovery activities owned by the group.

First level support for all firewall and IPS incidents.

Qualifications/Selection Criteria-

2-3 years in the following areas:

Demonstrated IP routing/switching networking knowledge is essential.

Experience in Wireless Networking (Cisco Meraki is preferred)

Very good knowledge of cloud networking concepts, Azure is preferred.

Some Experience with F5 BIG IP Traffic Management

Experience with firewall deployment, maintenance and configuration including access rule updates being crucial.

Familiarity with producing Network Diagrams using MS Visio or Draw.io

Exposure to Zero Trust Remote Access is a significant plus.

This position requires a self-starter/self-learner that demonstrates clear accountability that can adapt easily whether working independently or with a team.

Have excellent written and oral communication skills and strong judgment.

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field is preferred.

Cisco or Cloud (AWS/Azure) Certification preferred.
