Network Administrator

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Network Administrator/ NOC in the Marketing/PR industry, located in Tampa, Florida. This role is integral to our operations, requiring the successful candidate to provide technical support to customers and our internal teams, work collaboratively on various projects, and interact extensively with customers.Responsibility: Support in all areas of operations to include production support, release management, vulnerability management and other tasks as assigned to ensure delivery and operations for internal and external customers Participate in all phases of Production Engineering for Network and Security service offerings- Design, document, configure, test, maintain, and provide issue resolution recommendations for moderately complex security solutions related to networking, cloud, authentication and directory services, email, internet, applications, and endpoint security Configuration and management of security applications, tools, software and controls in tools Provide network and security consulting on medium projects to ensure conformity to information, security policy, and standards Identify security vulnerabilities, issues, perform risk assessments, evaluate remediation alternatives Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals Ensure timely delivery and documentation of services utilizing ticket tracking systems Collaborate with field technicians, network personnel, and carrier provisioning groups regarding implementation, service delivery, product management, continuity, and incident resolution. Perform regular customer information maintenance Assist with any and all other associated duties as assigned by managementRequirements Cisco, Palo Alto, SonicWALL, or other industry firewall / routing devices (Extensive Palo Alto Experience Preferred) Must have experience with IP Routing and Firewall Configurations from administrative level. Must possess or be pursuing Security+, CCNA, or other equivalent industry certification. Required to pass written test during interview process. Military experience a plus. Telecommunications experience a plus.
