In this role, you will be a part of an enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) process for USSOCOM locations across several networks and mission-critical applications. Candidate must possess active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance and DoDM 8570 certifications along with a combination of education and demonstrated experience/training on networks and applications specific to the SIE / USSOCOM enterprise, IT service management, Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), and other relevant domains. Candidate must be able to work autonomously and exercise independent judgement on resolving complex technical issues without oversight as well as recommending creative/innovative ways to enhance the overall SIE ITSM. Under the direction of the Mobile Device Support Manager, the Mobile Device Support Specialist is responsible for overseeing, engineering, and managing enterprise-wide mobile device solutions across multiple platforms, including Apple iOS, Android OS, BlackBerry, and other designated systems. This role involves strategic planning, technical leadership, and high-level troubleshooting to ensure seamless mobile operations. The Specialist will manage enterprise mobile technologies, optimize mobile device management (MDM) strategies, and develop policies for secure and efficient deployment of mobile solutions within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implementation, and optimization of mobile communication solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and security requirements.

Develop and enforce mobile device policies, including security protocols, software updates, and access controls in compliance with enterprise governance frameworks.

Evaluate, integrate, and deploy emerging mobile technologies to enhance operational efficiency and readiness across USSOCOM’s enterprise.

Provide expert guidance on the management and monitoring of critical mobile systems and networks, ensuring high availability and performance.

Manage escalations and oversee resolution of complex mobile device issues, coordinating with Tier 3 support teams and external vendors as necessary.

Oversee the administration of MDM platforms, including user account management, security configurations, and compliance monitoring.

Direct enterprise-wide deployment and lifecycle management of mobile devices, ensuring efficient asset tracking, upgrades, and replacement strategies.

Lead troubleshooting and resolution efforts for mobile hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, including cellular service management and enterprise encryption solutions.

Develop training programs, documentation, and user guides to ensure adherence to mobile security best practices and operational procedures.

Provide input on strategic planning initiatives related to mobile device infrastructure, including budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mobile solutions align with overall IT and cybersecurity objectives.

Ensure compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and industry standards related to mobile device security and management.

Conduct technical assessments and make recommendations for continuous improvement in mobile operations.

Support enterprise-wide initiatives by driving innovation and identifying opportunities for process enhancement.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

Must have DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.

Must be able to maintain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification via continuing education requirements or re certification.

Possess current TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.

Years Experience: 5-10 Years.

Knowledge of iPhone, Samsung, and BlackBerry devices to include IOS and AOS and emergent technologies required.
