Description We are offering a contract for a Legal Assistant position in Tampa, Florida. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in a law firm environment, focusing on bankruptcy cases. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with legal documentation, schedule hearings, manage calendars, and ensure a smooth flow of operations within the Federal Court system.Responsibilities: Manage and maintain an efficient calendar system to ensure all hearings and meetings are scheduled accurately. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, ensuring all documents adhere to legal standards. Efficiently e-file all necessary documents in the Federal Court system. Communicate effectively with clients and team members to resolve any inquiries. Gather, organize, and manage all necessary documents for cases. Utilize Netdocs for document management and organization. Monitor client accounts and take necessary actions as required. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in a legal assistant role or in a similar capacity with some Bankruptcy experience Proficiency in Calendar Management, ensuring all appointments and deadlines are efficiently scheduled and met Exceptional Communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with clients and legal personnel Experience with e-File and e-Filing systems, maintaining digital records and documents securely Familiarity with Federal Court procedures and protocols, including experience with 'Courts - Federal' operations Proven ability to Draft Legal Documents, Draft Documents and Draft Pleadings accurately and in a timely manner Must be able to handle sensitive information confidentially and act with discretion Strong organizational skills along with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in all work tasks Proficiency in using standard office equipment and legal software applications Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new procedures and technologies in the legal field.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
