Location: Tampa, FL

Job Description:The Specialist - HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management for our Banking and Financial Services vertical at our Delivery Center in Tampa, FL. This role will partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR transformation strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for leaders within assigned business teams/unit.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • This role will partner with project managers to develop and execute HR transformation strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement. A key focus would be on developing the capability and enablement of associates at the Delivery Centre.
  • Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends and work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships, build morale and increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide guidance and advice to managers on people plan and HR processes, covering all aspects of employee journey from onboarding to exit.
  • Manage employee wellness programs, HR connects, skip meetings and other communication programs.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to Delivery /Site lead / Management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances
  • Assists international employees with assignments and related HR matters.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Travel Requirement:

The position will be remote at the moment but will require at least 10-20% travel post COVID pandemic and return to normalcy.

  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education and Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Human Resources function, preferably in the Technology/ IT Outsourcing space
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including HR Transformation projects. Compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Psychology/Labor Relations (Master's degree preferred)
  • Preferred: SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP)/ HRCI certified
