(Intertek-PSI) team in Tampa, Florida. Performs a variety of assignments that include evaluations using standard techniques, procedures and criteria; using judgment to make minor adoptions and modifications during work

Prepares geotechnical reports for projects as per specifications

Prepares scopes, budgets, and schedules for task assignments

Reviews recommendations of Senior Engineers & Principal Consultants

Attends client site meetings

Communicates effectively with client and project teams

Works on one or multiple projects at a time

May perform on-site observations or inspections

Maintains and leverages client relationships and develops new project opportunities

Trains technicians and other technical staff

May work in the field and laboratory regularly

Must be aware of, and adhere to, safety practices and policies to ensure your own safety, as well as the safety of others who may be affected by your actions at work.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and/or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited/ABET school is required

EIT certification required

PE Registration required

Ability to obtain PE licensure within 3 months of hire is required

Effective communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and solid interpersonal skills are required

The ability to read and understand work plans is required

Must be able to work off shift and overtime as needed

Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record is required

Preferred Requirements and Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering is preferred
