Description We are in search of a Field IT Support Technician - Level II to join our team in Tampa, Florida. The role involves providing technical assistance related to computer systems, hardware, or software. You will be the first point of contact for users who need technical assistance over the phone or email. This role offers a long term contract opportunity (1 to 3 years). Responsibilities: Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware Respond to queries either in person or over the phone Maintain daily performance of computer systems Ask questions to determine the nature of the problem Walk the customer through the problem-solving process Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software Clean up computers Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved Gain feedback from customers about computer usage Install computer peripherals for users Train computer users Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.Requirements Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required Knowledge of Dell Technologies is essential Experience with EO/IR systems is required Familiarity with Mac Computers is a must Proficiency in Microsoft products is necessary Knowledge of Active Directory is essential Experience in handling Computer Hardware is required Proficiency in Configuration Management is necessary Experience in Deployments is required Familiarity with Deskside Support is necessary Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
