Share Job Apply Now Share Job Job Description David Weekley Homes is seeking a meticulous and proactive Billing Specialist to join our Tampa team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our division's bill payments are processed efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will not only manage bill payments but also streamline processes, analyze discrepancies, and audit for accuracy. This position demands exceptional organizational skills and a strong administrative background to enhance the efficiency of our billing operations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee and ensure the timely and accurate processing of all bill payments within the division.

Identify, implement, and refine procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the billing process.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in payments and invoices

Regularly audit payment records and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

Keep detailed and organized records of all transactions, communications, and discrepancies related to bill payments.

Offer general administrative support, including data entry, reporting, and responding to internal and external customers about payments.

Qualifications

High school diploma required

Previous administrative, project coordinating or accounting experience is preferred

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as a member of a dynamic team

Excellent time management skills

Ability to manage time and work effectively with a high volume of checks, invoices, data entry and calls from customers.

Team player with a positive, “willing to do what it takes” attitude. Polite and friendly with good social skills.

Self-starter and should be adaptable and detail oriented.

Have excellent verbal communication skills and be a good listener

High levels of integrity, energy and organization

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
