- Document UX Writing strategies with guidelines, establishing best practices and strategy principles.
- Develop layout and style guides for all documentation
- Drive the end-to-end documentation process for our feature releases
- Collaborate with Product Owners, UX Designers and feature teams to gather relevant information to find solutions to deliver value to users
- Turn complex concepts into clear, concise, compelling copy, adhering to brand's tone, layout and style guide
- Maintain consistency and storytelling throughout the user's journey within the product
- Author new or updated feature capabilities in on-line documentation: Help, Knowledge Base, tutorials.
- Conduct content reviews with Product Owners to ensure features, enhancements are adequately documented
- In charge of monitoring the activity and responsible for the Technical Writing Team's performance.
- Demonstrate effective project management in overseeing multiple documentation projects for the Technical Writing team
- Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to the Technical Writing Team
- Educate cross-functional teams on the role of UX Writing and content strategy throughout the product development process
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, software, or practices that contribute to overall improvement
- Technical Writing, UX Writing experience
- Experience with creating accessible compliant documents
- Experience in a software development environment with understanding of the SDLC
- Experience working in a single-source documentation environment
- Experience developing Information Architecture for complex documentation sets or product suites
- Experience with instructional design and learning principles
- Ability to deliver projects within timeframes
- Good time management skills, able to effectively prioritize competing project tasks
- Ability to communicate and interview SMEs to accurately document assignments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high aptitude to learn
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills using different styles and tones
- 1 to 2 years coaching technical writing/UX Writing teams
- Strong Knowledge of JIRA/Azure DevOps, TFS/Git Repos, Some SQL
- Understanding of computer systems and infrastructure
- Strong Knowledge of Madcap Flare or comparable systems
- Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong UX/Design experience
- Experience in HTML(5), CSS(3), Java Script, PHP
- Experience with XD Software: Figma, Invision, Adobe XD
- Experience with API documentation
- Experience with content tools: SharePoint, Confluence
- Experience with technology and related products, including videos, web, mobile UI and tools
- Experience with Agile software development processes
- A portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guides.
