JOB DESCRIPTION: Valet is responsible for delivering first-class customer service to guests in a
professional, courteous, and efficient manner, while assisting arriving guests by opening and closing all doors, park, and secure vehicles, closing all hatches and windows, and locking doors, then retrieving vehicles in a timely manner and extending the initial friendly welcome to the hotel guests.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Greet customers by opening the driver’s door and any passenger doors- front and back (if necessary) and extending the initial friendly welcome to the restaurant.
Park and secure vehicles, closing all hatches and windows, while ensuring the vehicle is locked.
Retrieve cars at the guest's request in a timely manner.
Respond to guest questions, issues and problems regarding parking and retrieving the cars, local directions, events, points of interest and activities.
Basic knowledge of phone functions and apps.
Education: High school education or equivalent experience
Experience: Previous Valet as an attendant or Valet supervisor
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to drive all makes and models of vehicles including manual shift. Excellent driving record as verified by Motor Vehicle Report.
Ability to communicate with guests while providing excellent customer service and have immediate knowledge of any services offered at your work location and be able to answer any customer questions about any events or activities in that area.
Must be able to stand the entire shift (no sitting or leaning) and physically be able to retrieve customer vehicles quickly for exit.
Applicant must be 21 years of age AND have a valid drivers' license.
Grooming/Uniforms
All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance. Valet shirts will be provided. You are required to provide your own khaki-colored shorts or pants (no Cargo Type), socks and comfortable black running shoes.
Job Type: Part time with potential growth to Full time
Schedule:
Monday - Friday Lunch 10:30 am - 3 pm
Monday - Sunday Dinner 4:00 pm - 9 pm
Saturday and Sunday Brunch 9 am - 3pm
