Office & Operations Manager

We are a high volume electrical contractor located in Brandon, Our office is located on Brandon Blvd by the mall. We have an amazing opportunity for the right person! Some construction experience/understanding preferred (in the field or office) We are seeking a self motivated organized Operations Manager to run the day to day operations as follows:

Primary Responsibilities:

1) Manager your assistant to answer phones and complete admin tasks as required and directed by you.

2) Oversee the application of electrical permits to include pulling new permits, adding to existing permits, uploading forms and documents and coordinating inspections.

3) Track active jobs through a tracking system, keep and modify schedules for each of 4 divisions (commercial, residential, service and field ops)

4) Audit time clock application and hours; assist with payroll input when necessary.

5) A rudementary understanding of Quickbooks to enter invoices, proposals and income.

6) Be the first point of contact for our customers; provide superior customer service.

7) Maintain spreadsheets for all activities related to employees and inventory: vacation logs, material sign out, etc.

8) Track emails and requests; actively process requests in a timely fashion.

9) Be able to secure a Notary Public certification. Notarize office documents as required (current assistant is a Notary)

10) Maintain active registry with local jurisdictions to include registering the company, updating and uploading COI's for GL and WC.

Secondary Responsibilities:

1) Maintain an orderly and kept office

2) Assist with vehicle tracking, inspections and maintenance requests.

3) Assist with processing enrollments for new employees.

4) Assist with material shipments in and out.

5) Maintain employees records and feedbacks.

6) Other tasks to help maintain an orderly functioning office.

Salary is between $16 - $28 per hour dependent upon experience and escalates as appropriate. Work is from Monday to Friday from 730 AM until 4 PM daily. We can also accommodate modified schedules, ask! If interested, please reach out and lets talk!
